Update: Tabular Form with Modular LOV
I created a demo for the Modular LOV for Tabular Forms plugin you can find it under http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=11202. Just log in with demo/demo and go on the “Orders” tab and edit an order detail (it’s page 29). If you try to use the LOV in the tabular form, you will see the modular form instead of the default popup. I just modified the default APEX demo application and if you would like to see how I integrated the plugin you can download the application export

Hi!
I have a problem while using the plugin to achieve cascading lov.
Insert a new row (the table is empty) and then select a value in the LOV (which then filters data in another LOV), and if you then click the “add new row” button nothing happens.
Is there a solution for this problem?
Rich, Thank you for the feedback! I think I slohud probably beef up the instructions in the next version. I just am trying to balance a reasonable number of features with a simple interface. It is the Mac user in me I guess. I do realize that this plugin might not suit everyone and I think I can add some often requested features through simple shortcodes. Anyways, here are some thoughts.* Reordering of questionsYou actually can do this. How you would do it is to change the date’ of the Question in the Admin section of the FAQ. It’s not the best, I know. I have thought about adding a custom meta field for the order, but I am on the fence with that one.* Reordering of categoriesYou can do this too. The way you would do it is to use the show_categories shortcode. You would just drop down multiple on a Page, one for each category you want.* Show a list of categories in the “add new question” section – so we don’t have to try the name of the categoryThis is a pita, I know. They are set up like Tags because I want them to be non-hierarchical. If I make them like Categories they would show up there but also be hierarchical and I don’t want people using that if I can avoid it. Kind of a catch-22 with WordPress I think. * Change the bullet displayed next to the question. I know this we can do by simply changing the image in the folder, but for newbies or less tech savvy it may prove too tricky. It is currently done with a unicode character at the moment. I have thought of moving to images but dealing with the color it slohud be is an issue. I could somewhat easily let users use their own images. If you have any more feedback it would be appreciated.
Thank you for the LOV. I have a problem with mapping column in the tabular form. The value from the LOV comes not in the cell, comes in the heading of the column and overwrites it. Is it possible to use tabular form column as maping?
